About Noah
A builder, not a career politician.
Noah Von Blom grew up in Newport Beach, became an accomplished chef, and built ARC Restaurants from scratch into a multi-location brand. He’s made payroll for Orange County workers, and never drew a government paycheck until his neighbors elected him.
As Mayor, he hired more police and firefighters, drove down homelessness, improved neighborhood infrastructure and balanced the budget every year.

The new CA-42 stretches from Long Beach into Orange County, where nearly 6 in 10 voters now live. It remains anchored in Long Beach while adding coastal communities like Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach, creating a more diverse and politically balanced district.

Why this race matters nationally
Garcia is set to become Chair of the House Oversight Committee if he gets into the majority. He has already promised to use that committee to focus on extremely divisive national issues rather than serve his constituents at home.

Cost of Living
Government overspending drives inflation, and inflation destroys the purchasing power of every family on this coast. Noah supports cutting taxes and will fight to reduce wasteful federal spending that Garcia has consistently voted to increase. The choice is clear: Noah wants to put money back in your pocket; Garcia keeps voting to take more of it.
Government Overreach & Freedom
When bureaucrats came for Noah’s restaurants, he didn’t just comply or complain; he ran for local office and won. That instinct to push back on unfair government overreach is not a campaign position for Noah. It is the reason he got into politics in the first place, and it’s exactly what he will bring to Washington.
Support Public Safety
As Mayor, Noah hired more police officers and firefighters, consistently investing in public safety. He does not support Garcia’s efforts to defund law enforcement. Communities are safer when law enforcement is well funded, staffed, and supported; Noah will fight to keep it that way in Congress.
Border Security
Secure borders and the rule of law are not just values; they are economic necessities for Southern California communities. Noah supports enforcing immigration law and opposes the open-border policies Garcia has championed throughout his career in Congress.
